NUDGES Meeting in Zagreb

Early November 2024 was reserved for our second technical meeting for NUDGES partners. Knowledge Network hosted this meeting, which took place at the House of Europe. We gathered representatives from all partner institutions, as well as a representative from one associated partner. The first day was dedicated to updating the team on the status of activities in the first three work packages. In brief, colleagues from Greece and Italy led the research activities and identified relevant literature, while colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina created a database of best practices and an online search tool (in its final phase) that will be of great help to policy-makers. Six partners from six countries completed preparations to begin implementing their pilot actions – we’ll immodestly say, the most interesting part of the NUDGES project! Slovenia will experiment with the sense of smell, Spain with hearing, Italy relies on touch, Greece on taste, and Bulgaria on sight. Bosnia and Herzegovina will include the younger generation (elementary school students) and their parents in their pilot. All pilots will have the same goal – gentle behavior change towards more environmentally friendly practices.

On the second day, the project coordinator from Cyprus provided an overview of administrative and financial developments in the first period, while Knowledge Network, as the partner responsible for communication activities, reviewed activities and documents. We concluded our working gathering and took the opportunity to record promotional materials.

This international team is one of the best we’ve participated in. The members share enthusiasm, expertise, and a desire for positive change!
