
Project goal
The project strengthens capacities for technology transfer and innovation in ICT in the Danube region, addresses problems of cooperation between stakeholders and the low ability of SMEs to develop valuable products, and develops key tools for effective support to technologies and start-ups.
Specific project objectives
- Improve technology transfer capacities at higher education institutions and public research organizations.
- Harness the potential of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
- To enable access to excellence in the field of ICT in four non-EU countries for cooperation in technology transfer, research and development (TT/RDI) and the development of smart specialisation strategies (S3).
Key project activities
- Mapping and analysis of existing technology transfer systems in the Danube region
- Development of a transnational model of TT services , focused on ICT solutions
- Development of a capacity building program for experts and stakeholders in the field of innovation and technology transfer ( Danube Digital Accelerator )
- Establishment of a transnational platform for cooperation in TT – link to the platform
- Developing policy recommendations that support sustainable TT and innovation ecosystems in the field of ICT ( platform for non-EU countries )
- Developing a joint strategy for long-term impact in the field of technology transfer in the region
- Awareness raising and communication , aimed at stakeholders from science, business and public administration

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the Interreg Danube Region Program.
The total amount of co-financing is €1,916,662.00 (80%).
The amount of funds allocated to the Knowledge Network is €136,645.00.
